My husband and I have just returned from a 6 week trip to India arranged by Ganpat. When researching this trip I emailed a number of agents but Ganpat was the most responsive of everyone and put together a plan we were pleased with. I was skeptical when he asked for just 40% upfront and the rest when we arrived in India. This would never happen with an American company. I told Ganpat we wanted to have an India experience not an American one. With every question I had leading up to arriving in India Ganpat responded within 24 hours either by What's app or email. We stayed at guest houses and havalis that were absolutely amazing. The guides he provided for us were all excellent. Our two drivers that we spent the most time with Vibin in Kerala for 11 days and Govind in Rajasthan for 20 days treated us as Royalty. After being with them I know feel that Indian drivers are the best in the world!!! Ganpat does the ground work but the people he has working in the field with you really provide the experience- seeing as he has found many of the best you will get more than you expect. Our drivers took us off the beaten track and introduced us to many experiences we wouldn't have gotten on a "normal" tour. My husband drove an ox cart on a back road. We were invited into people's homes. Rode camels, elephants, got licked by a cow among numerous other experiences. Ganpat really goes beyond what a normal travel agent will do for you. For example we had an early morning flight from Goa to Cochin. He called us to make sure we were awake and ready to go so we wouldn't miss our flight. He regularly checked in with our driver to make sure we were having a good experience and when we arrived in Jaipur we were invited to his home for dinner and he took us to a wedding reception. Lastly, coming home he texted me to make sure we arrived safely back in the states. Please feel free to private message me if you have any other questions, I would be glad to answer them for you.
