12 Days Meghalaya Tour

Day 1 - Arrival Imphal by 11am - Overnight in Imphal. (Visit Shri Govindjee Temple. Then we visit INA Memorial, Shaheed Minar, Japanese War Memorial or Red Hill. In the afternoon after having a delicious lunch in a prominent eatery in Imphal, visit Kangla fort, Eco Park and Ima Market)

Day 2: Overnight in Imphal (Visit Loktak Lake, Sendra Village, Andro Village)

Day 3 - Checkout to and depart to Kohima - (140 Km/ 4 Hrs

Day 4 - Kohima (Explore the lifestyle and culture of Naga tribes. After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Kohima Cathedral first then we visit Nagaland state museum and Kohima War Cemetery. In the afternoon visit Naga Bazar market and test some mouth-watering dish)

Day 5: Kohima - Jorhat - (via Dimapur Hills)

Day 6: Jorhar Sightseeing

Day 7: Jorhat - Kaziranga ( 3 hrs)

Day 8: Explore Kaziranga and go to Shillong overnight

Day 9: Shillong- Cherrapunjee (56 Km/ 2 Hrs) (we headed towards Cherrapunji the wettest place on earth. Cherrapunji is a splendid place blessed with surprising natural beauty. Today we visit Elephant Falls and Shillong peak en-route and then proceed to Cherrapunji. On reaching Sohra we visit Mawkdok Dympep valley, Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen falls and Eco-park. Evening at rest.)

Day 10: Cherrapunjee- Mawlynnong- Dawki- Cherrapunjee

Day 11: What to do ??

Day 12: Cherrapunji-Guwahati ( 100 Km/3 Hrs) (Today we return to Guwahati after breakfast. On reaching check-in at a hotel. Visit Kamakhya Devi Temple in the afternoon and enjoy sunset river cruise at Brahmaputra River in the evening) Late night Flight to depart.
